A source has revealed that there have been quite a few attempts to lure Mngqithi away from Chloorkop.

A couple of top clubs in the Absa Premiership have been told by Mamelodi Sundowns that their assistant coach Manqoba Mngqithi is not available as there have been quite a few attempts to lure Pitso Mosimane’s right-hand man away from Chloorkop.

Although the informant – who is well-placed at the club – did not want to reveal the identity of the clubs who have been head-hunting the former Golden Arrows mentor, he did, nonetheless, reveal that Mngqithi is not keen on a move away from Sundowns.
“The guy shares the same vision and is on the same mission as Pitso, and that is to make Sundowns one of the best clubs on the continent. He is not going anywhere, at least for now.”
