Pitso Mosimane’s post-match interview following Mamelodi Sundowns’ 4-2 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs in the Shell Helix Cup at the FNB Stadium has angered some members of the squad who started the match.

After the match, he made remarks that his starting line-up consisted of fringe players and he put on his regulars in the second half, who managed to score two goals after Chiefs scored four in the first half.
“I don’t think the coach realised what he has done, actually, I don’t think he heard himself when he was speaking. You don’t talk about your players like that on national TV. The guys feel unappreciated and they now want out more than ever. If you remember, players like Andile Jali, Aubrey Ngoma and Oupa Manyisa have been looking for a way out at the club. They didn’t make it a secret, saying they wanted out,” said the source.
