Maphangule has been one of Lidoda Duvha’s stand out performers this past season and he Buccaneers are said to have moved quickly to snatch him up.
A source revealed that the 26-year-old Maphangule, who was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, will join Pirates at the end of June as he already has a pre-contract with them.
“He is joining Pirates. I know there were many admirers but Pirates moved swiftly and netted him,” said a source.
