Pirates set sights on Bilankulu and Sibiya

Orlando Pirates are said to be looking to sign Golden Arrows' Musa Bilankulu and Nduduzo Sibiya.

A source close to Arrows revealed to Phakaaathi that the Bucs management has already approached Arrows, but the KwaZulu-Natal team are reluctant to let go of their two key players.

“Arrows think it will be a setback if they let them go because they feel both players still have a huge role to play at the club. Sibiya is a youngster who stills needs to be moulded, while Bilankulu’s experience helps guide the youngsters in the team,” said the source.

Pirates’ interest in the 32-year-old Bilankulu comes as a surprise considering his age, but the source adds Pirates have identified the former Bidvest Wits defender as the right person to stabilise the team’s defence.

“Bilankulu has been in the game for many years, the team needs someone like him at the back.”
