Pirates set to miss out on Ugandan defender?

A source close to the player has told Phakaaathi Plus that the defender’s management team were keen on the player coming to the Buccaneers but could be swayed by big bucks from elsewhere.

“I heard there was an Egyptian team lurking around and asking if he had signed anything with Pirates yet. His managers wanted him to go to Pirates because of Micho (the Pirates coach) who understands him but now that there is a bigger carrot dangled for them, they might change their minds,” said the source.

Juuko was said to be heading to the Soweto giants in January.
