Tshepe is said to have held talks with both Wits and Bucs and he is now on the verge on signing a pre-contract with the Clever Boys.

The source said: “You know how contract negotiations go bro, one minute everything was fine with Pirates and we were certain that he will be a Pirates players next season. I mean, he has been talking with Pirates for quite a while until Wits came through with an offer. Apparently, he will sign a pre-contract with Wits soon, or he has signed it already because he is not really opening up about it. But again, a pre-contract doesn’t really mean anything at all if you remember well what happened with Vincent Pule at the end of last season when he was said to have signed with Kaizer Chiefs, only to find out that he opted to join Pirates instead.”
