Makhubela has been one of the Pirates players who has not been playing much and is said to have already asked for a loan. The midfielder’s situation at the Buccaneers has left him frustrated and he is no longer enjoying playing football.
When he was signed, Makhubela was seen as the next big star at Pirates. A couple of weeks ago, this publication did report that Makhubela was seeking a loan move, and he was willing to go back to his parent club.
“Arrows have made an offer for him, they really want him because Pirates are not using him and they (Arrows) think that getting him will help the club and him. They know him and they know what he can do for the team, that is why they have tabled an offer for him,” said the insider.
“Arrows ar looking to do well for the rest of the season, they lost a number of good players in the past and the team is aiming to finish in the Top8 on the table this season.
“Getting Makhubela will be huge for them because they are looking at building a strong squad for the resumption of the season. They are really hoping that the Pirates management take the deal because they are really desperate to have Makhubela back. We will see what Pirates decide on, but everyone at Arrows is hoping that he comes back.”
