Orlando Pirates are said to be monitoring Mogakolodi Ngele’s situation at Mamelodi Sundowns, with anticipation growing following news that the Botswana international might be released at the end of the current campaign.
“Pirates have always eyed Ngele and their interest has been renewed since rumours that Sundowns will release him started. Pirates are still short of a strong-willed left-footed midfielder and Ngele is seen as a perfect fit,” said a source.
Ngele, Cuthbert Malajila, Oupa Manyisa and a few other players are said to be on their way out of Sundowns as they are now deemed surplus to requirements, according to sources.
