Pirates and Sundowns after Lebese

The Amakhosi midfielder is believed to be on the list of potential recruits for Pirates and Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are said to be after the signature of Kaizer Chiefs winger George Lebese.

The 28-year-old was once spotted at Loftus Versfeld during a Sundowns game, and coach Pitso Mosimane has expressed his interest in bringing more Mamelodi-born players to Chloorkop, as Lebese is a son of the soil and a supporter of the African champions.

Lebese has seen little action under Steve Komphela this past season, and with Pirates set to overhaul their team, Lebese is believed one on the top list of potential recruits.

Meanwhile, Chiefs have announced the signing of midfielder Philani Zulu and defender Teenage Hadebe.

Zulu joins Amakhosi from Maritzburg United, while Hadebe comes from Zimbabwe side Chicken Inn.
