Former Cape Town City attacking midfielder Ayanda Patosi could be back at Orlando Pirates in July.
Patosi left City for Iranian club Esteghal FC on a six-month deal. But a source claimed that Patosi’s heart is at the Buccaneers, a team he grew up supporting.
“I think he saw it would be difficult to move from City to Pirates, so he accepted an offer in Iran who are not really well-known for being a big football country. I foresee him coming back after six months or a year and Pirates will likely land him then,” said the source.
