Patosi goes AWOL, rumoured to want out of City
Cape Town City midfielder Ayanda Patosi is said to have gone AWOL just before last weekend’s Absa Premiership match against Maritzburg United.

A source has told Phakaaathi that the team waited for Patosi before leaving for Pietermaritzburg last Friday but he never turned up.
“He just didn’t show up and there were no explanation from him. He was not available on his phones and the team had to leave without him,” said the source.
He further revealed that the 27-year-old former Bafana Bafana player has been unhappy at the club for a while and is rumoured to have told management that he wants out.
“His friends suggest that he is unhappy with a lot of things in the team and wants to be released so he can join another team. But management are set to sit down with him and find out what’s troubling him later this week,” said the source.
