Norodien in limbo at Pembe as boss fails to pay him

Former Cape Town City midfielder Riyaad Norodien’s happiness at signing for top Democratic Republic of Congo side Motema Pembe has turned into sadness, Phakaaathi has heard.

Norodien joined the DRC side in June this year after struggling to find a club locally. But a source has claimed that he has gone without a salary since he joined the club.
“It has been three months that he has not been paid. From what I have heard, the owner of the club is struggling financially and waiting on some payout so he can pay the players.
“But what is funny is that it is only Norodien who does not get paid, all the other players are paid their monthly wages,” said a source.
