Orlando Pirates midfielder Goodman Mosele, who failed to honour a Bafana Bafana call up earlier this month, is said to have been a bad boy way back to during his amateur days.

Mosele was called up for Bafana’s back to back clashes with Ethiopia in the Fifa World Cup qualifiers, but did not report.
According to a source, Mosele has always been one player who is very talented, but he would always make bad decisions knowing that his ability would give him a green light to do so.
“I am not sure if he understands where he is now, he is no longer at Baroka, he is at Pirates, Orlando Pirates,” a source told Phakaaathi.
“Not everyone plays for Orlando Pirates. He has to be a professional, he is representing a lot of people and there are many people who are looking up to him. He has to change his behaviour because what he did at the national team is something that he used to do when he was still at Baroka. Missing training and games, those are the things that amateur players do.
“I hope he gets a wake up call because if he continues that way his career will go down the drain. I don’t want that, and I’m sure the Pirates management don’t want that as well because they believe in him. Maybe it’s because he is still young, that’s why he is making bad decisions. He is only 21. I hope that one of the senior players at the club takes him under their wing and guides him because if he carries on like this it will be the end of him.”
Meanwhile, as previously reported, Pirates will not be getting a head coach anytime soon with Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids set to continue as caretaker co-coaches for as long as possible.
