Maritzburg keen to keep on loan City player

Sources have whispered to Phakaaathi that Cape Town City might just lose Allan Kateregga permanently at the end of the season.

The Ugandan has won himself a few admirers since his loan move to Maritzburg United.

Kateregga has been doing well and proved his excellence with a brace in Maritzburg’s 2-1 win over Bloemfontein Celtic last Friday.

“Maritzburg are willing to keep him permanently should they survive relegation while other teams including Baroka FC and SuperSport United are said to have also been sniffing around regarding his situation. I don’t see him returning to City next season,” said a source.
