It is said that the Naturena side are preparing to offer Stellies a few players from their stable to sweeten the deal.

“They want Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Junior Mendieta. But as things stand, it is Mthetwha who will join them.

“Stellies have technically agreed to release Mthethwa and coach (Steve) Barker is already working on finding a replacement for him.

“I don’t think he will play much in the remaining games as Barker has already identified a youngster he wants to groom into the position.

“But I don’t see them releasing Mendieta yet unless the money is really good for both player and club.

“I heard that the player is not keen on leaving yet as he is struggling to adjust to South Africa and being on the coast helps him a little.

“If he moves, it means he has to make new friends and familiarise himself with new people.”
