Kaizer Chiefs mum on West African striker
Kaizer Chiefs are said to be close to landing a West African striker on trial – he is apparently lethal and could easily be the solution to Steve Komphela's side's impotence in front of goal.

A source said the negotiations have been on-going and Komphela wants to see the player for himself before making recommendations.
“He was impressed by what he saw on video but still wants to be sure that what he saw is the real deal. He could be coming in December or early January for a trial and his name is being kept a secret but you can see that they are looking forward to having him in the team,” said a source.

Amakhosi have looked at a few strikers in the past few months but none have impressed Komphela.
Phakaaathi has established that the striker could be one of the top scorers during the recent Wafu Nations Cup – Ghana’s Stephen Sarfo or Niger’s Adebayor Zakri Adje.
