Frustrated Mncwango bides his time at City

Polokwane City's sidelined striker Thobani Mncwango is taking comfort from what happened with Kaizer Chiefs defender, Philani Zulu while at Maritzburg United.

Zulu spent almost a year training on his own after a contract dispute with the team.

“Mncwango is comforted by the fact that Zulu has got his career back on track at a big club after what happened at Maritzburg,” said a source close to the player.

Mncwango has been left out of the Rise and Shine team since he refused to sign a contract extension as he was hoping to move to Orlando Pirates.

“He could still join Pirates in January if everything goes according to plan. He is unhappy but knows there is nothing he can do about his situation,” said the source.
