Former Chiefs star wants to remain overseas

A source close to former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Hendrick Ekstein has informed Phakaaathi that the star is looking at ending his career overseas, rather than coming back home in the future.

Azerbaijan-based Ekstein, who plays for Sabah FC, is said to be enjoying his football and life there.
“Ekstein is very happy where he is. He gets game time, scores and makes assist. His career has blossomed very quickly in Azerbaijan … a lot of people thought he would not make it. He is doing well and wants to end his football journey away from home when the time comes,” said a source.
