After acquiring his Safa coaching D-licence qualification, former Bafana Bafana captain Mbulelo Mabizela is looking at adding another qualification to learn more about the game off the field as he aims to coach in top-flight football one day.
A source close to the former Tottenham Hotspur defender has revealed he is serious about coaching and wants to change his life.
“He has learned the hard way, but he is now picking himself up and trying to turn his life around. He is really serious about coaching and wants to continue learning because he hopes to be on the touchlines one day coaching a top side. He is currently coaching in the Local Football Association in KwaZulu-Natal and is enjoying it.
“The boys are fond of him and respect him very much, I hope everything goes well for him,” said the source.
