Majafa has been captured by first division side Venda Football Academy following a brief trial with the club and impressing the technical team, a source at the Limpopo based team has revealed.
Majafa, who has also played for Polokwane City, Platinum Stars, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Roses United, is said to be on top of his game and it doesn’t even look like he has not played professional football for a while.
“Yes, Majafa just signed with us. We are very happy to have him at the club because he is one of the gifted players in the country. He has a lot of quality and has shown a lot of commitment since the day he started training with us.
“I am not sure what was the problem with him not getting a team or if maybe he was just unlucky not to get a club. But we know that last year he went on trial in Turkey and they loved him, but he never got to go back because of Covid-19 and travelling restrictions.
“Anyway, he is available for selection for the next game, I am not sure if he will be able to make the starting line-up, but he will definitely be in the match-day squad,” said the source.
