Ex-Chiefs winger mulls next move

Jayiya failed to make the grade at Chiefs and was released in April just before the season ended. He had been training with the juniors prior to that. But a source close to the player has revealed he is not in too much of a hurry as he considers his options carefully.

“He still wants to play but it has to be at a club where he will be afforded a proper chance. His time at Naturena was terrible and he needs to be absolutely certain before he commits to the next club,” said the source.

Phakaaathi understands that he could be headed for Cape Town to join GladAfrica Championship side Cape Umoya United who are part-owned by his former coach Roger de Sa.
