Ekstein set to leave Kaizer Chiefs in June?
There are growing rumours that Kaizer Chiefs star Hendrick Ekstein may have already signed a pre-contract elsewhere.

This could be the reason he is stalling his contract renewal. The talks between Chiefs and Ekstein’s representatives have been protracted, giving rise to the rumours that he may have already agreed a pre-contract elsewhere.

“He is standing firm on his demands and is unwilling to compromise but I have heard that some of those demands are a bit unfair. I don’t know, maybe the rumours are true that he has a job elsewhere if Chiefs decide to end the talks,” said the source.
There have been some rumours that Ekstein might join their fierce rivals Orlando Pirates or SuperSport United at the end of the season.
