Cape Town City are preparing to make Kaizer Chiefs an offer for their goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo who has hardly seen any action this season.

A source close to Khuzwayo has revealed he has been alerted to the news that City want him and are even prepared to take him on loan if they can’t get him permanently.

“He is obviously excited because it could mean he gets to play regularly. He is a quality keeper but we all know that when you have Itumeleng Khune in your way you are unlikely to get a chance.
“He doesn’t have a problem being second choice at Chiefs but his worry is that by the time he gets to play he is usually rusty and that leads to him making some mistakes,” said the source.
