A massive clear out is set to happen at Kaizer Chiefs in June with coach Ernst Middendorp said to be given the green light by management to rebuild the team.
A source close to the team has told Phakaaathi that Middendorp has raised his concerns about the standard of some of the players that he found at the club.
“He has already started planning for next season but he has to be very careful with how he handles this situation as there are a number of games and the Nedbank Cup to play and he doesn’t want to raise fear among the players. But a good number of them are set to be released including some crowd favourites,” said the source.
