Chiefs close in on Mabena

The 30-year-old player is currently a free agent after his contract with Dikwena expired last Friday.

A source close to Ndumiso Mabena confirmed to Goal that a move to Amakhosi is on the cards, and that if all goes according to plan, he will be at Naturena this week.

“The club is doing everything to sign him. The deal could be concluded this week. As you might be aware, Mabena is now a free agent. His contract [with Stars] expired last week Friday,” the source said.

Mabena made 31 appearances in all domestic competitions for Dikwena last season, scoring four goals and making seven assists.
