Benni wants Teko Modise to stay at City
Modise’s deal with City expires at the end of the season and “The General” is expected to hang up his boots.

Cape Town City midfielder Teko Modise is being convinced to extend his stay at the Mother City-based club for at least another season.
Coach Benni McCarthy insists on having the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates star in his team to guide the youngsters and play an important role on and off the pitch.
Modise’s deal with City expires at the end of the season and “The General” is expected to hang up his boots. However, with City’s plans of keeping him, it is still unknown whether the 36-year-old midfield maestro will agree to prolong what has been a career that almost spans to two decades.
