Baroka set to land Tchabalala
Baroka FC are set to sign Hussein Tchabalala a tall Burundian striker said to be in the mould of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroka Swallows' Mame Niang.
Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele (L) with coach Wedson Nyirenda (C) and club CEO Morgan Mammila during a press conference.
A source close to the situation said Tchabalala is already in South Africa and should be unveiled as a Bakgakga player soon.
“He left this side on Saturday coming to Baroka. I don’t know the kind of strikers they have but am sure he will be a good acquisition for them and he should be able to give them a few goals.
He is tall and strong and packs a good shot,” said the source.
Tchabalala was in the Rayon Sports side who played against Sundowns in a Caf Champions League game earlier this year.
He is likely to be a direct replacement for Lewis Macha the Zambian striker Baroka released earlier this month.
