Axed Chiefs striker considers Maritzburg move

Ryan Moon is believed to be considering a move back to his former club Maritzburg United after the striker was released by Kaizer Chiefs recently.

A source close to the player says there have been numerous inquiries for the striker from several PSL clubs, but he seems to think that a move to the Team of Choice will suit him enough to resurrect his career after failing to impress at Chiefs.

“He always knew he wouldn’t be without a club for long,” said the source.

“There are many teams that are after him, they believe he has great potential to be a top striker. Yes, things might have not worked out at Chiefs, but he still has time to get back to his best. That is why he thinks moving back to Maritzburg will work out well for him. After all, that is where he started his professional career,” said the source.
