Angry Pirates defender on his way out

Ayanda Gcaba is said to be unhappy with the fact that he has been earmarked to be one of the players who will be sent packing at the end of the season, a source at the club has told Phakaaathi.


According to the source, Pirates are looking to build a young team for the future and they have already identified a suitable replacement for Gcaba.

“It’s not easy to leave a big club, especially if you are going to join a small club. I understand his frustrations but his time at the club is already up. You can see with the current back four that is playing that the technical team want players who will be there for a long time.
