Amrouche still hoping for a PSL move

Former Algeria player Adel Amrouche has not given up on his dream to coach in the Premier Soccer League (PSL). A Phakaaathi source has revealed that the former Botswana national team coach is home in Belgium but keeping tabs on the local game.

“He knows everything that is happening here and has sent his CV to some of the clubs with the hope of getting a job.
“Something could have happened recently but I think the travel restrictions were the stumbling block because he could not get into the country in time for the club who were showing some interest.
“His heart is however still set on Orlando Pirates because he feels they have the right material and he could get them back to the level they should be,” said the source.
Pirates are still without a permanent coach with Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids at the helm as stand-ins since Josef Zinnbauer’s departure earlier this season.
A source at Pirates however previously revealed that club boss Irvin Khoza is still happy with the work of the duo and could give them a chance until the end of the season to see how they fare.
