A source has revealed that Usuthu initially wanted Mxolisi Macuphu from Bidvest Wits but when he was transferred to SuperSport United in January, they turned their attention to Majoro.
“Majoro is their player, they are the ones who launched him and they want him back. With the loads of experience he has from playing for Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and now Wits, he is seen as the right candidate to replace Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhuti Khenyeza in terms of providing leadership to the youngsters in the dressing-room.
“They are hoping he will also want to end his career where it started and agree to their offer,” said the source.
