This comes after Zungu wrote a cryptic message on social media which was later deleted, following a string of poor results.
“He wrote a message where he apologised to the supporters of the team, saying the pain was too much now,” said a source.
His brother Manzini Zungu also took to social media to apologise to the club supporters after Usuthu lost to Swallows on Saturday.
“As for us losing to Swallows, kwanele manje (it’s enough now). To our fans, you don’t deserve this. Yobe (sorry).” wrote Manzini, while giving an update on George Maluleka who collapsed on the field during the game against Swallows.
In the last five matches, Usuthu have drawn one, won one and now lost three in a row.
The club also recently released senior players Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Keagan Buchanan in what is believed to be a move to get rid of “rotten apples” in the team.
The duo were said to be a bad influence in the team and were working against Folz.
