Matlaba alleged shootout explained

Matlaba was not harmed in an attempted hijacking that happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Gunshots were allegedly fired, which resulted in one of the victims being hospitalised.

“They were trying to hijack his car. Fortunately, a police car was passing by, and the suspects ran away,” Rasimphi said as quoted by KickOff.

“There were no injuries, and the player is fine.”

The defender and unidentified male opened a case of attempted murder following the incident.
