Masuluke cries after costing Baroka a win

Baroka FC goalkeeper, Oscarine Masuluke couldn’t finish his post-match TV interview as he cried and walked away following a disappointing showing in the Bakgaga’s 2-2 draw against Stellenbosch FC.

Masuluke made a few blunders in the promotion match on Wednesday and could have cost the team dearly after miscuing a clearance in the latter stages of the match and was saved by his defenders who cleared the danger.

The lanky 23-year-old keeper also mistimed his movement for Stellenbosch’s second goal which cost Bakgaga two points as they had to settle for a draw.

Speaking to SuperSport TV after the match, Masuluke admitted that they made some mistakes in the match.

“We lost focus a number of times in the match. But we will take the point,” he said before bursting into tears and walking away.

His coach, Kgoloko Thobejane was also disappointed but said it happens in football. “It is football… yeah this is football. Anyway, one point is better than nothing,” said Thobejane.
