Masilela welcomes Nedbank Cup draw

Kaizer Chiefs left-back Tsepo Masilela has admitted that Baroka FC are quite a difficult side.


Chiefs were drawn against the Limpopo team in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup on Thursday.

Amakhosi have beaten Bakgaga only once, with the clubs having met six times before since their first meeting back in 2011.

“It’s a draw, and there’s no good or bad about it,” said Masilela told the club’s website.

“Baroka are a force to be reckoned with. They are never easy customers to face.

“It is going to be an interesting game. We have no other option but to win the match because to be able to lift the cup you have to go through each and every stage of a cup competition,” he added.

Masilela has been out of action for Amakhosi for some time, having suffered a knee injury last year in September.
