Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has described the late Team of Choice goalkeeper coach Arthur Bartman as a servant of the game.

Bartman passed away last week after losing his battle with meningitis. He was 46.
Speaking at his memorial on Tuesday, Kadodia said Bartman’s death is not only a loss to Maritzburg, but for football at large.
“We always saw Arthur as a Maritzburg role model. In football and in representing the city. While he was present at the club he did his job diligently and he is a big loss to football,” said Kadodia.
Bartman will be laid to rest in East London on Saturday.
