The midfielder, who joins Pirates as a free agent after the expiry of his Leopards contract, is said to have agreed to a five-year-deal with Pirates.
“I am happy, because my dream is now a reality. It has not been easy but I’m glad the hard work has finally paid off. I will keep working hard at Pirates,” Maphangule told the Daily Sun.
Kaizer Chiefs, Bidvest Wits and Polokwane City were also linked with the 26-year-old midfielder, but Bucs won the race to his signature.
