Manyisa to lead player exodus at Sundowns?

Mamelodi Sundowns is reportedly expected to release players who have struggled for game time at Chloorkop.

According to SunSport, Oupa Manyisa, Mogakolodi Ngele, Thokozani Sekotlong, Sibusiso Khumalo and Cuthbert Malajila are on their way out of the Pretoria club.

The five players have struggled to break into coach Pitso Mosimane’s starting line-up in the last two seasons and have been relegated to the stands.

“The management wants to release players who have not made any contribution this season,” a source told SunSport. “They want them to further their careers elsewhere instead of training without getting any action.”

Sekotlong and Khumalo have a chance to make their loan moves to Black Leopards and Bidvest Wits permanent while Ngele has attracted interest from Wits. The Botswana international’s contract with the defending league champions expires at the end of the season.
