Makaab flays TV commentators
Well known player agent, Mike Makaab flayed SuperSport TV soccer commentators on Tuesday night, accusing them of being overzealous in their criticism of players during matches.

Makaab was left unimpressed with Thabiso “TT” Tema’s commentary and Farouk Khan’s analysis during an Absa Premiership match between Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United on Tuesday night.
The owner of respected player management agency, ProSport International was first irked when the duo criticised the referee for calling Jeremy Brockie’s goal offside although replays showed it was the right call.
“The commentators need an eye test,” tweeted Makaab. “I love JB but that was offside, even if only slightly,” he added.
He then took a veiled swipe at Khan. “I wonder why our commentators are super critical, instead of focusing on the game. They should listen to EPL commentary… They all sound like frustrated coaches… geniuses in the stands.”
