Maize Cup challenge excites Rollers

Rollers public relations officer Bafana Pheto says the club is honoured to be part of this off-season tournament where they will take on Kaizer Chiefs in the second semifinals at the James Motlatsi Stadium, and it will give their players exposure.

“We are very honoured to be part of the Maize Cup, as it is very important for our growth as a club. We are delighted because it will give our players international exposure, and they will also gain a lot of experience from playing against teams from outside Botswana,” Pheto told Maizecup.co.za

Rollers recently signed South African midfielder Tsepo Matete, who was released by Baroka earlier this year.  The skillful winger played at last year’s edition of the Maize Cup for Bakgaga.
