“I am happy to feature against Tanta because this means I am in the technical team’s plans,” Mahlambi told Al Ahly’s official website.
“I put in a lot of effort at training and in the matches to prove myself. The coach is always talking to me and is guiding me to reach my best.
“Hossam El-Badry told me more than once that he is insisting on developing my performances to benefit from my abilities,” he added.
“Recently I joined the national team. As an Al Ahly player, I seek to represent the team in the upcoming season to prove my abilities,” he said.
“I have no intention of leaving Al Ahly. I enjoy playing at Africa’s biggest club and I am happy to be with my teammates and the fans.”
