Mabena training with Maritzburg
Mabena is one of the players who shone at Bloemfontein Celtic last season despite the side having financial problems.

Phakaaathi has been reliably told that Ndumiso Mabena is training with Maritzburg United where he hopes to land a deal.
“He is training at Maritzburg and it is looking good for him. He is an experienced striker and any team would be lucky to have him. He has had to leave Celtic because of the problems going on there,” said a source.
Mabena was once reported to be on Kaizer Chiefs’ wanted list but the move never materialised. He is among 11 players who are on trial at the Team of Choice looking to impress Eric Tinkler.
Other players include former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder, Thamsanqa Sangweni and Zimbabwean Brian Chikwenya.
