This comes after the Bafana Bafana midfielder reportedly skipped training this week and a friendly match with the Dutch club Twente Enschede.
“His story is closed. Unless he has a convincing reason‚ we are going to cancel his contract,” the club’s technical director, Willy Reynders, is quoted as saying by The Sowetan.
“It seems such a waste because if he had the personal discipline he would be an enormous talent‚” Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad stated on Friday.
Patosi has a long history of ill-discipline including coming back late from international duty or skipping training.
The 24-year-old Khayelitsha-born started 118 games for Lokeren and scored 24 times in seven seasons.
