Last Saturday coach Clinton Larsen’s men recorded a vital league win over AmaZulu as well.
Meanwhile, Wits have been in abject form in March and April as they’ve lost four out of five in all competitions, picking up just a single victory over Bloemfontein Celtic on 15 March.
It appears the outfit from Johannesburg are now out of the title race after being strong contenders earlier in the campaign.
