SuperSport United and Cape Town City will both be looking to win the first trophy of the domestic football season when they clash in the MTN8 final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday night.

The match represents the first career final for Citizens coach and Bafana Bafana legend Benni McCarthy, who took over the reins of the club from Matsatsantsa boss Eric Tinkler over the winter.
City will also looking to win a second major trophy in just over a year of their existence – they bought the franchise of Mpumalanga Black Aces before the start of last season and went on to win the Telkom Knockout in December.
