Letsoaka hints at PSL return

Former Bafana Bafana assistant coach Serame Letsoaka could be back working in the Absa Premiership next season.

Letsoaka was linked with a technical director job in Botswana, but Letsoaka says there was no offer made.

The former Golden Arrows mentor says he has turned down one offer from an Absa Premiership side this season, and is weighing up another.

“Yeah, look there is no story, no story with the BFA thing, there is nothing to talk about. Like I am saying, there’s no story on that,” Letsoaka told Goal.

“I have been busy with Fifa work … since I left coaching, I have been doing lot of Fifa work in many countries such as Qatar, Malaysia, Zambia – in many countries,” said the Senekal-born former player.

“I am doing work on coaching as we speak, but I can tell you that I got an offer from a PSL club but I refused because it was in the middle of the season,” he explained.

“It was 10 games to wrap up the current season then and it was not possible for me to take the job as a coach,” revealed the coaching instructor.

“However, I have two offers now in front of me. We will see at the end of the season, but I can tell you something will definitely happen,” he continued.

“Talks are at an advanced stage – this is one PSL club and one in the NFD – no, no there is nothing in Botswana, there is no offer there,” concluded the coach.
