Matlaba joins Lidoda Duvha as a free agent after partying ways with Pirates last week.
He becomes the latest big-name player to join Leopards during the current transfer period after the signing of Thuso Phala and Mogakolodi Ngele.
Word is that Matlaba has signed a two-year deal with Lidoda Duvha, but the club has not confirmed the length of his contract.
Meanwhile, Leopards have confirmed the return of midfielder Mumuni Abubakar.
Abubakar left Leopards to join Free State Stars in July 2017. He spent the second half of last season at Royal Eagles in the National First Division.
