Leopards midfielder snubs Chippa

Outgoing Black Leopards midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange has declined a loan move to Chippa United.

The midfielder, who has signed a pre-contract with Bidvest Wits, was supposed to see out the rest of his contract with Leopards at Chippa, but he turned down the move, saying he wants to remain in Venda until the end of the season.

“He has bluntly refused to go to PE, he wants to remain in Venda until his move to Wits or join Wits now. He is worried about changing environments at a short space of time because remember he has to settle in PE but before you know it, it will be end of the season already,” a source told Limsportzone.

“The player also does not mind staying at Leopards and leave at the end of the season but he has also indicated that rather he be loaned to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila than go to Port Elizabeth.”
