Leopards explain why they want to play Wits in Thohoyandou
Black Leopards have explained why they do not want to play the rescheduled Nedbank Cup last-16 clash against Bidvest Wits at an alternative venue.

The match was abandoned on Wednesday night due to inclement weather conditions and unplayable surface.
The Premier Soccer League is said to have proposed that the match be played at either the Giyani or Peter Mokaba Stadium, but Lidoda Duvha refused, but Leopards have disputed.
Replying to a tweet on social media, Leopards said they would like to play at a stadium which is accessible to their loyal fans who usually pack the Thohoyandou Stadium.
“We feel the supporters are too loyal in the far north and they deserve to watch football at their door step, win or loose. They attend regardless of opposition. We need to pay them back at every opportunity,” read a tweet from Leopards.
The PSL is set to announce a new date for the fixture and at this stage, it’s not clear if Leopards will be granted their wish to play it in Thohoyandou.
