Kerr says he confronted Munyai after learning from reports that he was speaking to Highlands about a possible move.
The Leopards coach said his skipper denied the reports and said he was committed to staying at Lidoda Duvha.
Leopards’ management has since received communication from the Lions of the North confirming that Munyai has talked to the Tembisa-based club.
“I don’t like people who are two-faced and lie, Marks has to be honest and say if he has (signed),” said Kerr after his side lost 3-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday afternoon.
“He told me [he] hasn’t signed then I get an email saying they (Highlands Park) have spoken to him and apologise for not informing the club. He [needs] to play an important part in the team until he leaves. He just has to be honest and tell me the truth, the management told me he has, and he says he hasn’t signed so I believe him.”
